Culture and Vision
Katherine Riley, A 30-year veteran of the salon professional industry, Katherine started her career in the corporate world with an extensive background in marketing and business; she decided to combine this experience with her passion for the beauty industry, and opened the Katherine Jon Salon in year 2000. She is currently a Regional Educator for Eufora International, the New York Chapter Leader for the Eufora Salon Owner Network, and her presence has been requested by Eufora salons nationwide to share her knowledge, experience, and philosophies.
Both outside and inside of the salon, Katherine is an exemplary leader and strives to change the way the industry is seen and felt -- through extensive training of her staff, increasing stylist success through education, and making everyone feel as though they are at home when they step inside the salon, Katherine believes that when it comes to quality, there are no compromises; her reputation for creating an impeccable guest experience has attracted people who appreciate service that delivers substance without hype.
Giving back to the community is one of the greatest opportunities being a business owner has afforded Katherine, and she has worked extensively with Childhelp, an organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse. She has organized fashion shows, carnivals, and golf outings benefiting Childhelp in which she raised over $45,000 collectively, in addition to bringing awareness to this problem in the community. Because of these efforts, she was graciously named Good Neighbor of the Year by Times Beacon Record. Katherine has the ambition to lead her team to become the standard of success that other small businesses use as a blueprint, and is confident that they have the necessary tools to become trailblazers and truly make a change.
